Delete your Peko account.

In the app — the fastest way

1. Open Peko and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Danger zone.
3. Choose Delete my account (Delete account if you are a trainer) and confirm.

Your account is scheduled for deletion straight away and you are signed out. You have 30 days to change your mind — simply sign in again within those 30 days and the deletion is cancelled. After 30 days it is permanent and cannot be undone.

Without the app

Message or email us from the number or address on your Peko account and ask us to delete it. We may need to confirm it is you first, and we answer every request within 30 days.

If you are a gym member or a trainer's client, you can also ask your gym or your trainer to delete you, and they can do it for you.

What is deleted

• Your login and your profile — name, mobile number, email, photo, date of birth and gender.
• Your health and fitness data — weight, measurements, body and posture readings, and anything you logged.
• Your progress photos, meal photos and check-in photos, and the files behind them.
• Your workout and diet plans, session history, attendance and your notes.
• Your notification tokens, so no further push notification can reach you.

What is kept, and for how long

• Money records your gym or trainer is required to keep. Invoices and receipts for payments you made to them are the gym's business records and Indian tax law requires them to be kept — usually for eight years. Your name stays on them only as far as the law requires; nothing health-related does.
• A gym's own records of having employed you, if you were staff. Your login and personal profile go; the fact that a role existed and what it did stays with the gym, so their history is not rewritten.
• Anonymous counts. Figures that no longer identify anybody — how many sessions ran in a month, for example — are kept.
• Backups roll off on their own schedule and are fully overwritten within 30 days of the deletion.

Deleting a gym owner's own login does not delete the gym's records. Closing the gym does — message us and we will close the whole account.
